7. Test Options
7.1 Self-Checking Tests
After power-up, the machine’s software will automatically run the following self-checking tests.
Battery Test
Checking the battery voltage. In case of defective or low battery, the machine will generate a signal tone
after power-up, and bAt LOW will appear in the Cricket display.
In case of missing battery, the machine will generate a signal tone after power-up, and bAt NONE will
appear in the Cricket display.
Press [PLAYER CHANGE] button to enter gaming mode.
Push-Button Switch Test
Checking the four front push-button switches. If a switch is stuck closed, the TEMP SCORE display will
identify the stuck switch by displaying the corresponding three digit characters. The machine will also
generate a signal tone. Please compare test t01.
Target Segment Watchdog
Checking the dart target matrix. If a segment answers incorrectly, a beep is sounded, and the message
StUC dArt is displayed, alternating with the number of the concerned segment. Also, the lamps in the front
door are flashing.
Real-Time Clock Test
Checking the incorporated real-time clock. If a problem is found, a beep is sounded, and SEt rtC appears in
the Cricket display. Press [PLAYER CHANGE] button to enter gaming mode.
Software Version Display
The currently installed software version is displayed in the Cricket display.
