Place the two ‘O’ rings on the applicator and slide this over the electrode taking
care not to touch the membrane covering the silver cathode. Push off the first ‘O’
ring to locate in the top groove without stressing the membrane. Fit the second ‘O’
ring in a similar fashion and trim off the excess membrane not enclosed within the
‘O’ rings.
