Assigning Group Call Distribution (#206) -
Option 1
Use this procedure to specify the outside lines on which Automated Attendant Service is required.
To assign VMS-AA lines specified on the System Configuration Form, Page 1, Line Coverage, to
Hunt Group 7:
1.Press #206.
2.At the group prompt, press 7.
3.At the extension prompt, enter the first VMS-AA line specified in the Line Coverage column of the
System Configuration Form, Page 1.
4.Press D until the display reads 1 Assigned.
5.To program another line, press n or p until the appropriate line number displays.
6.Press D until the display reads 1 Assigned.
7.Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for each VMS-AA line on the System Configuration Form.
Assigning Line Coverage for Extension
Numbers (#208)
To assign line coverage for the extension numbers specified in the VMS-Mail column on the
System Configuration Form, Page 1, Line Coverage:
1.Press #208.
2.At the
Line: prompt, enter the first line for which an extension is specified in the VMS-Mail
column of the System Configuration Form, Page 1, Line Coverage.
3.At the Data: prompt, enter the number of the extension specified in the VMS-Mail column.
4.To program another line, press
n or p until the appropriate line number displays.
5.Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for each VMS-Mail line for which an extension number is written on the
System Configuration Form.

instructions.
