External switch panel
In addition to controlling functions from the operator panel and/or external control, we have put
together a few predefined activities that can be started with a simple flip of a switch.
Via a button connected to terminals in our electrical cabinet you can define what activity to run
when the button is being activated and deactivated
Below functions can be assigned to switch A and B and unlocked with a code in the Ebox
A or B (activated)
- Turn on camera
- Turn on/off white light
- Turn on/off UV light
- Send searchlight to position A and turn on white light
- Open serial port (mainly used for NMEA tracking of radar or a Rhotheta Radio Direction
Finder, contact Luminell for more info)
A or B (deactivated)
- Park searchlight (and light off)
Connecting the switch panel to the ebox
The Luminell switch panel (or alternative corresponding to below schematics) is connected to
the ebox terminal #10(A), #11(common) and #12(B).
Switch requirement: 24Vdc, 100mA
By default, switch B is assigned
to turn light ON/OFF.
This control work in parallel with
the operator panel and external
controller.
Activated switch also wakes the
operator panel from standby.
Use two maintained
switches. (stays in one
state until actuated into
a new one, and then
remain in that state until
acted upon once again).
