CD15 OPERATOR MANUAL MAINTENANCE
Maintenance should be performed using either the hourly or calendar dates, whichever occurs first.
* = Service after first 100 hours of operation only.
** = May require replacement more often under extremely dirty conditions.
Check axle wheel hub lubricant level (4)
x
Check axle housing lubricant level (2)
x
Check hoist gearbox and brake oil level
x
Lubricate the outrigger slides
x
Add grease to swing gearbox
x
Lubricate the drivelines
x
Replace fuel filter elements (diesel)
x
Inspect the parking brake pads
x
Inspect tires for damage
x
Add rust inhibitor to engine cooling
system
x
Replace transmission oil filter
x
Check swing gear to pinion backlash
x
Replace the transmission oil and filter
x
Clean 4WD transmission strainer
x
Replace the axle wheel hub lubricant
x
Replace the axle housing lubricant
x
Replace the hoist gearbox lubricant
x
Replace the hydraulic oil
x
Replace the hydraulic oil filter
x
Replace the engine coolant
x
Inspect the crane structure and boom for
damage
x
Test the Rated Capacity Limiter (RCL)-
