3.3.2 CHECKLIST: Installing the 10 / 17 m (33 / 56 ft) swing-away
lattice

This checklist is no complete set of operating instructions. There are accom-
panying operating instructions which are referred to by cross-references.
Observe the warnings and safety instructions specified there.
Prerequisites:
– The truck crane is on outriggers or the main boom has been set down on
the boom rest.
– An auxiliary crane is available.
1. For the derricking swing-away lattice, release the locking device on the
hose drum;

2. Check whether the transport condition of the swing-away lattice has
been established;
à Transport condition with removed swing-away lattice,

3. Sling the swing-away lattice onto the auxiliary crane and attach the
guide rope to the front of section 1;

4. Raise the swing-away lattice and pin section 1 to the right-hand side of
the main boom;
