Do not attempt to go over 20 km/h at any time, while the side tip attachment is
assembled to the machine.
See Section “Side tip” on page 102 for more details on the Side tip
attachment.
9.4 ‘Break-away’ brake
The McHale Fusion 3 is fitted with a handbrake which must be applied when the
machine is detached from the tractor. The handbrake handle has a rope fitted to a
calibrated ring which must have the other end securely fixed to the tractor, each time
the Fusion 3 is attached to the tractor. If the Fusion 3 hitch ever becomes detached
from the tractor this rope will apply the brakes on the Fusion 3.
CAUTION: Ensure the hand brake is released when moving
Always ensure that the hand brake has been released before moving the
Fusion 3 on the road or operating in a field.
