4.2.2.7 Tube-to-Tube Connector
Place the connector in a clean container
and add enough enzymatic detergent
solution to completely cover it.
Leave to soak for 10 minutes at 40 °C ±
2 °C;

Using a disposable syringe, inject the
enzymatic detergent solution 3 times
inside the cavity of the connector to
ecaciously remove the residues from
the internal surface;

Delicately brush the surface of the tube-
to-tube connector under running water
(drinking water, temperature 20°C+/-
2°C), in particular the parts that are
difficult to access (cavities, structured
surfaces, etc.) using a brush with soft
nylon bristles;
The tube-to-tube connector must be
brushed until no residues can be seen (at
least 30 seconds);

Using a 20 ml disposable syringe, inject
20 ml of cold demineralised water 3 times
inside the cavity of the tube-to-tube
connector;
