5.19 - Test output J9 connector
Tools needed :
• Multi meter
With the multi meter check that the contact at the ends of the connector J9 there is a voltage of
approximately 21 VAC.
If there is this tension, the test is OK, then go to the next test.
5.20 – Check cable and emergency button
Tools needed :
• Multi meter
Disconnect the connector J4 from the control board and check with the multi meter on the contacts
at the ends of the connector (Fig. 36) if there is continuity.
The lack of continuity can be caused by the pressure of an emergency button, a bad connection of
AMP connector inside the handlebars or the breaking of the wires inside the handlebars.
NOTE: Pressing and releasing the emergency buttons take away or give power to the control board.
