6.7 - Replacement of Gliding System
Essential tools:
• Wrenches from 5.5, 10 and 13 mm
• Allen keys 3, 4, 6, 8 mm
• Screwdriver
• Cross-head screwdriver
• Scissors
• Measurement tool
Parts Required:
• Group sliding - deck /running belt
• Group parts - front roller
• Group turnover - back roll
• Transmission belt
Remove the plastic screw caps on the side plates of the treadmill, so that the screw heads are
easily reached.
Unscrew and remove the screws that secure the laterals plastics on the treadmill, then remove
them.
Use an 8 mm Allen wrench to loosen the screws that secure the rear roller to the frame. These
screws are located underneath, in the rear side of the treadmill (Fig.42).
With a 13 mm wrench remove the bolts tend running belt located at the foot of the treadmill
(Fig.43), loosen completely the belt tensioner roller, then remove the 2 screws that secure it to the
tank and remove it.
Use the 8 mm Allen wrench to unscrew and remove the screws that hold the front roller to the
frame, remove the transmission belt, then remove and discard the roller.
Withdraw the drive belt from the engine pulley and discard.
Use the 10 mm wrench to unscrew and remove the screws on the brackets at the foot of the
treadmill (Fig.43). Remove both brackets and set them aside.
At this point you have to remove the extension of the frame with the 6mm Allen key and the
17mm fixed key, first removing the screws that secure it to the tank and then removing the
screws that secure it to the chassis frame (Fig.44 - 45 ).
Use the 3 mm Allen key to remove the elbow of the emergency button .
Lift the back of the treadmill and place under the right foot a thickness of 3 or 4 cm (Fig.46).
With the 4mm Allen key and the 13mm fixed key, remove the handlebar left rear side.
