Application note
Note 1 – CDS (Communication Disconnect Stop) enabled
While the CDS is enabled, the treadmill must receive a command or a status request every 500 ms.
This insures the treadmill- computer link remains intact. If a request is not made in 500 ms, the
treadmill will de-accelerate to minimum then stop and elevate zero.
Note 2 – CDS (Communication Disconnect Stop) disabled
Starting the belt with the CDS disabled is equivalent to press the front panel START button.
Sending A0 command the CDS flag will be enabled.
Note 3: TADF (Transmit Acknowledgement Data Flag)
This option my be used to retransmit the input command data after the Acknowledgement. This data
my be compared with the transmitted data to insure the command data was sent properly. Upon
power up the flag is cleared so no data will be sent after the Input Command Acknowledgement.
Note 4: The treadmill stores in its memory the maximum value of elevation and the min. and max.
speed value. The data received to the next 4 bytes with reference to these values are checked so that
they have not to exceed the stored data. In the case that these values are not within the correct
values, they are not accepted and the correspondent command is not executed.
