AXn (auxiliary channel) BNC connectors
Buffered outputs (“raw” analog signals)
corresponding to auxiliary channel inputs.
Transfer ratios:
• For a channel configured as a tachometer
input:
0 to 5 V TTL-compatible (digital pulse train)
signal.
• For a channel configured as a DC input:
1 V/V for a voltage input signal or
0.2 V/mA for a current input signal.

CHn (dynamic channel) BNC connectors
Buffered outputs (“raw” analog signals)
corresponding to dynamic channel inputs.
Transfer ratios:
• For a voltage input signal: 1 V/V.

• Orange blinking slowly: trip multiply (TM).
• Orange blinking: alarm bypass (AB).
• Orange (continuous): sensor/measurement
chain problem.
• Red (continuous): fail-safe due to diagnostics
(BIST) or hardware fault/problem preventing
normal operation.

1, 2, RESET buttons
Used to change/control the operation and
behaviour of a VM600
Mk2
MPS
(MPC4
Mk2
+IOC4
Mk2
and RLC16
Mk2
).
In general:
• Button 1 (left) is used to change the
operating mode of the MPC4
Mk2
module.
• Button 2 (right) is used to switch the main
Operational mode of the MPC4
Mk2
module
between Locked (safety/secure operating
mode) and Unlocked (maintenance
operating mode).
• RESET (both buttons) is used to reset the
MPC4
Mk2
+IOC4
Mk2
module, that is, reboot
the VM600
Mk2
MPS.
