If you do not find the event in the table below or your efforts do not lead to
success, turn to your specialist dealer or the
customer service centre in your vicinity. In order for us to help you, keep
the serial number of your
steam sterilizer and a detailed error description
of the malfunction message ready.
Door switch is not closed on start
Adjust the twist grip into the proper position
90° perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Correct display: Door closed.
Refill feed water – No start
possible
Only if feed water supply from
external feed water container:
Not enough feed water in the
container, hose / cable not properly
connected
Float switch blocked
Check feed water level in the feed water
container, if necessary refill feed water.
Check proper connection of the connection
hose / cable plug to the feed water
container.
Check if float switch is blocked or jammed in
the feed water container.
Check filter insert in the feed water container
The warning message appears
after program start. The built-in flow
monitor doesn't close
At the first start-up or re-start-up, this
message can occur once since the piping
system is still not completely filled: restart.
Feed water supply from the feed water
container
If the message appears repeatedly, have the
unit checked by the MELAG customer
service.
Feed water supply from MELAdem

Check water treatment unit, possibly open
inflow to the unit.
If the message appears repeatedly, have the
unit checked by the MELAG customer
service.

Check water treatment unit, possibly open
inflow to the unit. When the storage tank is
empty, restart after about 1 h.
If the message is repeated, have the water
treatment unit checked by the MELAG
Hose not correctly connected
Check hose for correct connection to the
steam sterilizer and the feed water container
and for kink-free installation.
Warning – Empty the waste
water tank/No start possible
Waste water container is full
Empty the waste water container ensuring
that residual water (approx. 10 cm) will
remain in the container (see page
42,
Chapter 6 – Maintenance).
If the steam sterilizer does not start after the
acknowledgement, briefly switch the steam
