Place the stopper with the attached aspiration tip into the ground-
joint opening with the ground-joint sleeve.
Insert the aspiration tip into the titration cell until it almost touches
the vessel base.
NOTICE
Collision with stirring bar
The aspiration tip must not collide with the stirring bar.
2.2.5 Using the titration cell with a Karl Fischer oven
When samples release their water only slowly or only at higher tempera-
tures, the oven method is used. The sample is heated in a KF oven (e.g.,
860 KF Thermoprep) and the water that is released is transferred to the
titration cell with a carrier gas.

Equipping the titration cell with an oven
The 6.1465.320 titration cell with additional lateral opening is used. The
titration cell must be equipped beforehand (see chapter 2.2.2, page 7).
