DONOTremoveorexcessivelylowerthe
headrestraints!Adjusttheheightofahead
restraintsothatthetopofitisushwiththe
topoftheoccupant'shead.Thisistoavoid
thefatalinjuriestotheneck,spineorother
partsofthebodyinthecaseofaccidentsor
hardbrakes.Donotadjustorremovethe
headrestraintswhilethevehicleismoving.
DONOThanganyarticlesonthehead
restraintsorheadrestraintrods,intheevent
ofacollisionorhardbrake,thehanging
articlesthatarenotsecuredmaymoveand
injureotheroccupantsinthevehicle.
Theheadrestraintisdesignedtopreventrearward
movementoftheheadintheeventofacollisionorhard
brake,therebyreducingtheriskofheadandneckinjuries.
T oraiseorloweraheadrestraint,pressthebutton
indicatedbythearrow,lifttheheadrestraintorpressit
totherequiredheight,thenreleasethebutton.Pressor
lifttheheadrestraintagaintoconrmitislockedinplace.
Theheadrestraintcanbepulledoutwhenliftingittoa
certainposition.
