rear.Thetowingeyeisstoredinthetoolkitbeneaththe
trunkoorwhennotinuse.
Beforettingthetowingeye,removethesmallcoveron
thebumpertowinghole,thenscrewthetowingeyeinto
thethreadedholeinthebumperbeamthroughthesmall
squarehole(seeillustration).Ensurethetowingeyeisfully
tightened!
Note:Thetowingeyecovershallbesecuredtothe
bumperbyaplasticcord.
Bothtowingpointsareintendedforusebyqualied
recoveryspecialiststoassistintherecoveryofyourcar
shouldabreakdownoraccidentoccur.However,theyare
notdesignedfortowingothervehicles.Thereartowing
hookonlyusesaropefortowinginrecovery,otherthana
hardtowbar,otherwisetherearbumperwillbedeformed.

SuspensionTowing
Ifyourcaristobetowed,mostqualiedrecovery
specialistswillusewheelliftequipmenttosuspendthe
wheels.Liftthefrontwheelsduringsuspension.DO
NOTlifttherearwheels;otherwisethetransmissionmay
bedamaged.Andreleasetheparkingbrake,turnonthe
hazardwarninglamp,withnopassengerleftinthevehicle.
