Ifthetwo-wheeldrivevehicleistowedwiththefourwheels
ontheground,observethefollowingprecautions:
1Placetheignitionswitchinposition2toenablethe
brakelamps,wipersanddirectionindicatorstobe
operated.
2PlacetheshiftleverinNgear(automatictransmission)
beforetowing,orinNgear(manualtransmission).
3Releasetheparkingbrake.
4T urnonthehazardwarninglamp.
5Ifthetransmissionisdamagedorlackoflubricating
oil,DONOTtowthevehiclewithfourwheelsonthe
ground.
6DONOTtowbackwardwithfrontwheels(drive
wheels)ontheground.
Withouttheenginerunning,greatereffortwillberequired
tooperatethebrakepedalandturnthesteeringwheel.
Longerstoppingdistanceswillalsobeexperienced.
