DEFECTIVETIRESAREDANGEROUS!
DONOTdriveifanytireisdamaged,is
excessivelyworn,orisinatedtoanincorrect
pressure.
Alwaysdrivewithconsiderationfortheconditionofthe
tires,andregularlyinspectthetreadandsidewallsforany
signofdistortion(bulges),cutsorwear.
Note:Preventthetiresfromcontactingoil,greaseand
fuel.
TirePressures
Beforethelongdistancejourney,thetire
pressuremustbechecked.
Checkthetirepressuresatleasteverymonth,whenthe
tiresarecold.
Ifitisnecessarytocheckthetireswhentheyarewarm,
youshouldexpectthepressurestohaveincreasedby0.03
to0.04MPa.Inthiscircumstance,NEVERletairoutofthe
tiresinordertomatchtherecommendedpressures(cold).
Valve
Keepthevalvecapsscreweddownrmly-theypreventdirt
fromenteringthevalve.Checkthevalveforleaks(listen
foratell-talehissing)whenyoucheckthetirepressure.
PuncturedTire
Ifatireispuncturedbyasharpobjectanditisleftonthe
tire,thetiremaynotnecessarilyleak.Ifyouareawareof
thisoccurring,reducespeedimmediatelyanddrivewith
cautionuntilthesparewheelcanbetted,orrepairs
undertaken.
Note:Ifthesidewalloftireisdamagedordistorted,
replacethetireimmediately,donotattemptarepair.
TireWearIndicators
Thetiresttedasoriginalequipmenthave1.6mm-high
wearindicatorsattheirtreadpatternbottom,verticalwith
thewheelrollingdirectionandevenlydistributedaround
thecircumference.Themarkonthetiresidesuchascapital
lettersTWIortriangularsymbolshowsthelocationof
wearindicator.
