followingsafetyprecautionsatalltimes:
•Keepyourhandsandclothingawayfromdrivebeltsand
pulleys.
•Ifthecarhasbeendrivenrecently,DONOTTOUCH
exhaustandcoolingsystemcomponentsuntiltheengine
hascooled.
•DONOTTOUCHelectricalleadsorcomponents
whiletheengineisrunning,orwiththekeyinignition
switch.
•NEVERleavetheenginerunninginanunventilatedarea
-exhaustgasesarepoisonousandextremelydangerous.
•DONOTworkunderneaththecarwithawheel
changingjackastheonlymeansofsupport.
•Ensuresparksandnakedlightsarekeptawayfromthe
enginecompartment.
•Wearprotectiveclothing,including,wherepracticable,
glovesmadefromanimperviousmaterial.
•Removemetalwristbandsandjewellerybeforeworking
intheenginecompartment.
•DONOTallowtoolsormetalpartsofthecartomake
contactwiththebatteryleadsorterminals.
PoisonousFluids
Fluidsusedinmotorvehiclesarepoisonousandshould
notbeconsumedorbroughtintocontactwithopen
wounds.Theseinclude:batteryacid,antifreeze,brake
andpowersteeringuid,fuel,engineoilandwindscreen
washeradditives.
Foryourownsafety,ALWAYSreadandobeyall
instructionsprintedonlabelsandcontainers.
UsedEngineOil
Prolongedcontactwithengineoilmaycauseseriousskin
disorders,includingdermatitisandcanceroftheskin.
Washthoroughlyaftercontact.Usedengineoilshould
bedisposedofcorrectly.Incorrectdisposalcancausea
threattotheenvironment.
