whetherthereisfracture,breakageorabrasion.
•Retractthebelttocheckiftheretractionissmooth,
continuousandcomplete.
•Checkiftheseatbeltsystemislooseorbroken,orhas
partsthatmayaffectthefunctionofseatbeltsystem.
•Checkiftheseatbeltwarninglampfunctionswell.
Iftheseatbeltfailstopassanyoneofabovechecks,please
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairerforrepairimmediately.
SeatBeltsMaintenance
Donotretordismantletheseatbelt
systembyyourself.Anyrepaironparts
oftheseatbeltsystemmustbecarried
outbyaprofessionaltechnicianaccording
tomanufacturer'stechnicalspecications
andprocedures.Intheeventofaccidents,
impropermaintenancemaycauseseatbelt
pre-tensionersnottobeactivatednormally
toincreaseaccidentinjuryrisk.Forbetter
guaranteeofyoursafety,werecommendyou
consultanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
Ensurenosharpobjectwillbestuckinthe
seatbelt.Donotallowliquidorforeign
objectstoenterintothebuckle,otherwiseit
maycausemetaltabunabletoengagewith
buckle.
Seatbeltscanonlybecleanedwithneutralsoapandwarm
water.Donotuseanysolventtocleanseatbelt.Do
notbleachordyeseatbelt.Otherwiseitmayweakenthe
strengthofseatbelt.Aftercleaning,seatbeltshallbewiped
cleanwithclothanddryinashadedplace.Donotreturn
seatbelttoretractorbeforeitiscompletelydry.Keepseat
beltcleananddry.
Iftherearecontaminantsaccumulatedintheretractor,the
retractionofseatbeltwillbeslow.Pleaseusecleanand
dryclothtocleanthecontaminants.
