•Airbagsarenotdesignedforrearcollision,minor
frontalimpacts,orifthevehicleoverturns;norwill
itoperateincaseofheavybraking.
•Deploymentandretractionoftheairbagstakeplace
veryquicklyandwillnotprotectagainsttheeffects
ofsecondaryimpactsthatmayoccur .
•Whenanairbagisdeployed,someparticleswillbe
released.Thisisnotanindicationofamalfunction,
however,thepowdermaycauseirritationtothe
skinandshouldbethoroughlyushedfromtheeyes
andanycutsorabrasionsoftheskin.Ifskin(eyes,
nose,throat,etc.)doesnotfeelgood,pleasegoto
adoctorimmediately.
•Afterdeployment,airbagswillretractimmediately.
Thisensuresthatthedriver'sforwardvisionisnot
obscured.
FrontalAirbag
Donottchildrestraintinthefront
passengerseat.Thedeploymentoffrontal
airbagmaycauseseriousinjuryorevendeath
tochildren.
Driverandfrontpassengerarenotallowedto
touchorapproachfrontalairbagcoverwith
feet,kneesoranyotherpartofbody.
Whenchassissuffersviolentbumpsor
accidentalcollisions,airbagsmaydeploy.
Therefore,whendrivingonbumpyroads,
pleasetakespecialcaretoavoidtheinjuries
causedbyaccidentaldeploymentofairbags.
Thefrontalairbagsaredesignedtodeployinserious
frontalcollisionorsimilarcollisions.Conditionsdescribed
bloworsimilaronesmaycausethedeploymentoffrontal
airbags.
