HHCassiststhedriverby'holding'thevehicleduringhill
starts.
ThefollowingconditionsmustbefullledtoactivateHHC:
•Stopthevehicleonaslopeinexcessof3%andformore
than2seconds.
•SCSisactiveandfaultfree.
•Thegearleverinforwardgearorreversegear .
•IgnitionisON.
•Sufcientbrakepedalapplicationforcehasbeenapplied.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonahill,HHCwill
maintainbrakepressurefor1~2seconds,afterthisperiod
thevehiclemayroll.
HHCcannotovercomephysicallimitations.DONOT
solelyrelyonHHC.
Note:HHCisavailableinbothforwardandbackward
directions.
Anti-lockBrakeSystem(ABS)
ABScannotovercomethephysical
limitationsofstoppingthecarintooshort
adistance,corneringattoohighaspeed,or
thedangerofaquaplaning,i.e.wherealayer
ofwaterpreventsadequatecontactbetween
thetyresandtheroadsurface.
ThedriverofvehiclesequippedwithABSmustneverbe
encouragedtotakeriskactionsthatendangerthesafety
ofotherpeopleorroadusers.Underanycircumstances,
thedriverhastheresponsibilitytokeepasafedistance
withothervehiclesandconsidertheweatherandtrafc
conditionandsoon.
ABSisdesignedtopreventthewheelsfromlockingduring
brakingandenablethedrivertocontrolthevehicle's
steering.
ABScannotbetriggeredundernormalbrakecondition.
Oncethebrakeforceexceedsthetractionbetweenthe
tyresandroad,thewheelslock,andABSwilltakepart
inautomatically.Atthistime,thedriverwillfeelquick
pulsationonthebrakepedal.
