T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactivated,thetargetcruise
speedmaybeadjustedbyoperatingtheSET+/SET -button
(2and4)onthesteeringwheel.
Brieypressing(lessthan0.5second)theSET+/SET -switch
mayincrease/decreasethesetspeedby1km/h,andthe
vehiclewillaccelerate/deceleratetothenewsetspeed.
PressandholdtheSET+/SET -switch,thevehiclewill
keepaccelerating/deceleratinguntiltheswitchisreleased.
Onthispoint,theaccelerated/deceleratedspeedwillbe
adoptedasthenewsetspeed.
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisoperational,the
vehiclestillcanbeacceleratedbynormallydepressing
theacceleratorpedal(suchasovertaking).Whenthe
acceleratorpedalisreleased,thespeedwillberesumedto
thetargetcruisespeed.OrpresstheSET+switchbefore
theacceleratorpedalisreleased,thenthecurrentspeed
isusedasthenewtargetcruisespeed.
Pause
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,thefollowing
operationswillbringthesystemtoStandbystate:
•PressthePause/Resumeswitch(1);
•Depressthebrakepedal;
•ThegearofATmodelsismovedtoP ,RorN.
•Poorroadconditionsresultintheactivationofstability
controlsystem(SCS),andthecruisecontrolsystemwill
automaticallyexittoStandbystateforsafetyreasons;
•Steepsloperesultsintheexcessivespeeddecrease,the
cruisecontrolsystemshallautomaticallyexittoStandby
state.
Resume
Afterapause(ifthecruisecontrolsystemisstillON),it
canbere-activatedbythePause/Resumeswitch(1).At
thismoment,thetargetcruisespeedisthetargetspeed
beforethecruisecontrolsystemexits.
