Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilwhen
necessary.Ideally,theoillevelshouldbecheckedwith
theenginecoldandthecarrestingonlevelground.If
theengineisrunningandalreadygettingwarm,waitfor
atleastveminutesafterswitchingofftheignitionswitch
beforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipeofftheoilonit.
2Slowlyinsertthedipstickandpullitoutagainto
checktheoillevel;theoillevelshallnotbelower
thantheMINmarkonthedipstick.
3Unscrewtheoilllercapandrelltheoiltomaintain
theoillevelbetweentheMAXandMINmarkonthe
dipstick.
4Waitfor5minutesandthenrechecktheoillevel,add
anappropriateamountofoilifnecessary–DONOT
OVERFILL!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickisinsertedandoilller
capisfullysecured.
