CAUTION
If you have fabricated the encoder cable, connect it correctly.
Otherwise, not doing so may cause unexpected operation.
POINT
The encoder cable is not oil resistant.
Refer to section 12.4 for the flexing life of the encoder cable.
When the encoder cable is used, the sum of the resistance values of the cable
used for P5 and the cable used for LG should be within 2.4
.
When soldering the wire to the connector pin, insulate and protect the
connection portion using heat-shrinkable tubing.
When using the encoder cable of four-wire type communication system, set
"1
" in parameter No.20 to select the four-wire type.
Generally use the encoder cable available as our options. If the required length is not found in the options,
fabricate the cable on the customer side.
When fabricating an encoder cable, use the selection example of wires given in section 13.2.1 and the MR-
ECNM connector set for encoder cable fabrication, and fabricate an encoder cable as shown in the wiring
diagram.
Refer to section 14.5 and choose the encode side connector according to the servo motor installation
environment.
