Installation location
Observe the following precautions when installing the machine.
٨ Avoid installing the machine in the following locations which may cause equipment breakdowns
or endanger safety.
Ԙ Locations with high temperatures, high humidity or low temperatures, low humidity.
ԙ Locations subject to sudden changes in
humidity and/or temperature.
Ԛ Locations in direct sunlight.
ԛ Locations near sparks or heat.
Ԝ Locations where machine is directly exposed to wind such as from coolers, heaters or vents.
ԝ Locations where volatile gases such as ammonia are emitted.
Ԟ Locations that are not level or that do not have a sturdy oor.
ԟ Locations where electrical leakage or uid splashes might occur.
Ԡ Locations with large amounts of dust or vibration.
ԡ Locations near curtains or in ammable materials.
Caution
When carrying this machine always use at least 2 people and hold it by the carry grips on the
cutting waste container section. Do not carry it by holding the rotary blade grip or the shaft on the
upper side of the feed unit.
Caution
After the machine is installed, clamp the front casters (2 locations) by lowering the lever to lock
the casters so the machine cannot move.
Power supply
٨ Comply with the following points to ensure safe power supply operation and prevent the ma-
chine from malfunctioning.
Ԙ Use caution since using other electrical appliances from the same electrical outlet may ex-
ceed the power supply current rating. In particular avoid using with machines that consume
large amounts of current (instantaneous current surges) such as large DC motors and copy
machines.
ԙ Use in locations not subject to large voltage uctuations.
Voltage uctuations 100 volts AC within ± 10%
Frequency uctuations 50/60Hz within ± 0.3%
Always use an electrical power outlet having a ground to prevent electrical shock in the
event of electrical leakage.
ع INSTALLATION
Installation space
Make sure you have enough space as shown in the drawing for operating the machine and other
jobs like replacing the rotary blades or maintenance inspections.
Operating Environment
• Temperature: 10 to 30
Temperature changes: Less than 10 per hour
Humidity: 20 to 80%RH
