1. Observe these precautions
Caution
Please keep the following points in mind in order to use the autocutter safely and correctly.
This symbol indicates information that if ignored may cause death or seri-
ous injury to the machine operator and others.

Warning
1. Do not install the autocutter close to potential sources of
heat such as forced-air heaters, kerosene stoves, infl am-
mable solvent or direct sunlight. These are a potential
fi re hazards.

2. Do not dismantle or otherwise modify the machine. This
may lead to injury due to contact with the cutting blade
inside the machine or from electric shocks or fi re, etc.

3. Turn off the power before attempting to clear up paper
jams (paper blockages) or before cleaning the machine.
Also, be sure not to cut your fi ngers on the cutting blade
inside the machine.

4. Insert the plug fully into the electrical outlet (socket). Fail-
ure to do so creates a fi re and electrical shock hazard.
Do not touch with moist hands since this might cause
electrical shocks.

5. Provide separate single-phase 100 and 240 volt 10 amp
power sources. Using other than the these specifi ed volt-
ages might result in fi re or electrical shock hazards. Use
a grounded power outlet (socket) to eliminate the danger
of shock in case of electrical leakage.
