Handling the cutting waste paper
Always dispose of the cutting paper waste once a day after work is fi nished by using the following
procedure.
On days with a lot of paper cutting work, check the level of cutting waste in side the cutting waste
hopper by looking in the inspection window and dispose of the cutting waste as required. (The
amount of cutting waste produced differs according to whether you are using a long blade or ro-
tary blade.)
Turn off the power (O side).
Check the level of waste cutting paper from
the inspection window.
Open the front cover by gripping the front
cover latch.
Take the waste paper out of the hopper and
dispose of the cutting paper inside the box.
Return the cutting waste hopper to the ma-
chine and close the front cover.

Caution
If the cutting waste overfl ows inside the hopper, cutting performance will drop (paper jams
and cutting defects). In worst cases, the rotary blade may break. Dispose of the cutting
waste once a day.
[Reference] The waste bag in the hopper for holding the cutting waste is a replaceable item.
If you need more waste bags contact the dealer where you bought the machine.
