Setup before operation
Always make the following setup before attempting to operate the device.
Ԙ Take the accessories out of the waste cutting paper hopper and connect the accessories
according to the instructions in this manual.
ԙ Open up the waste cutting paper hopper bag and set it in the cutting waste hopper. Place
the cutting waste hopper inside the machine and close the top cover.
ع Cautions during use
Observe the following points to obtain maximum use from this machine.
• Do not place heavy objects on the machine. Do not apply shocks to the machine.
• If the machine becomes abnormally hot or emits abnormal sounds, promptly remove the
power cord.
• Do not place the machine near magnets.
• Do not let metal objects such as clips or staples fall into the machine through gaps in the
external case.
• Do not use infl ammable spray around the machine.
• Do not cut off the power while the machine is cutting.
• Using devices like radio or TVs from the same electrical outlet may cause noise to be emit-
ted from those devices during cutting.
• Do not handle with moist hands since this might cause electrical shock.
• Keep in a place out of the reach of children.
• If not using for extended periods, always remove the power cord plug from the outlet (sock-
et) to ensure safety.
ع Other cautions during operation
■ Cautions when handing the machine.
• When carrying this machine always use at least 2 people and hold it by the carry grips on the
bottom of the unit.
• Do not place objects on this machine during cutting.
The upper section of the feed unit has an air exhaust vent for suctioning air from the paper so
placing an object on this unit will disable the paper feed.
