3.3.2 Menu Icons
New Message(s) in Inbox
Indicates that you have unread messages in your inbox.
Man Down Active (Blue)
Indicates that the Man Down feature is active.
Man Down Alert (Red)
Displayed when the Man Down feature is active. This icon has two states:
Blinking – pre-Alert; the terminal signalizes Man Down conditions. To exit the pre-Alert
state, change the conditions or press the PTT button.
Solid – the terminal entered the Alert mode.
Man Down Failure
Indicates the Man Down device failed.
Menu Icon Description
Main Menu Items/Context Sensitive Menu
Appears above if the main menu items/context sensitive menu are active.
Messages
• Send status messages,
• Send short text messages (according to user defined or predefined templates),
• Receive messages in inbox.
Contacts
Add, search, or erase entries in the contact list.
Security
Lets you turn On/Off and verify security features.
Setup
Allows you to customise your MTP850 Ex/MTP810 Ex.

Scroll Bar
Indicates navigation among items that occupy more than one screen. If all items appear in
one screen, the scroll bar is empty.
