Answering a Private Call
If you press the PTT Switch

response will be transmitted to everyone in your selected Talkgroup, but the
person calling you will NOT be able to hear you.
When your radio receives a Private Call, you will hear two alert tones [repeat-
ing every 5 seconds for 20 seconds], and the display will alternate between “CALL
RECEIVED” and the home display. The Private Call status annunciator will show
at the top of the display.
You will have 20 seconds to answer the call before the radio automatically
returns to the normal operation.
