Programmable HOME Button
The HOME button on the MTS 2000 portable radios will now operate like that of
the MCS 2000 mobile radios.
Yo u D o T h e Radio Does
1. Turn your radio to the Talkgroup you
wish to be entered into the HOME button.
Press and hold down the HOME button
until you hear a beap (approx. 2 seconds).
Your HOME button is now programmed
for that Talkgroup. Now, regardless of
which Zone and Talkgroup you are in,
when you press the HOME button, the
radio will automatically go to the
Talkgroup you programmed into the
HOME button.
IMPORTANT: Turning the Zone Toggle
Switch and Talkgroup Selector Knob
will reset the radio to the location of
the knobs. Turning the radio off/on will
also rest the Talkgroup selection to the
location of the knobs.
