You are now on a PVT Call between
you and one other radio user.
The radio will return to the current
Talkgroup.

2. Press the key below CALL. The
display changes to show the
ID number of the calling party.
3. Press the PTT Switch.
4. When you have finished your con-
versation, press the HOME key to
hang-up.
Blue Button Operations (see diagram on previous page)
The Blue button on the side of the MTS 2000 portable radio is now the “Answer
All” button. For a backlight button, press a digit (1-9).
The Blue button can also be used to answer Private Calls or Telephone Calls to
your radio. Previously, you would have to use the Menu of the radio to answer
Private Calls or Telephone Calls.
When you see the words CALL or PHONE CALL in your display, you may now
answer those calls by pressing the Blue button and then respond by pushing the
PTT Switch button and speaking.
On the MCS 2000 mobile radios, the #2 button on the microphone will now func-
tion the same as the Blue button.
