Programmable Buttons
Name Use Refer To
1. Zone Used for Zone Selection. Push button
and turn Zone Selector Knob (D)
2. Page Press button to send a page to
another radio.
3. Dim Display Press this button to control the
brightness of the display backlighting.
4. Emergency Press this button to invoke the
emergency function.
5. User This button can be programmed by
Programmable the user to go directly to a particular
Zone and Ttalkgroup.
6. Not used
7. Phone Press this button to get dial-tone and
make a telephone call.
8. Scan Press this button to turn Scan ON/
OFF or to program Scan list.
9. Private Call Press this button to initiate or answer
a Private Call.
10. Menu Press this button to make a menu
selection. Use the Talkgroup/Zone
Selector Control to display desired
function, then press select (SEL).
Used for programming functions.
11. Select Press this button to select the menu
or function currently displayed.
12. Home Press the Home button to exit a
function. Returns the radio to the
home Talkgroup, position A-1.
13. User This button can be programmed by
Programmable the user to go directly to a particular
Zone and Talkgroup.
