5 After Use
At the Entry Control Point, all BA wearers logged on must be logged off by being identified by the Entry Control Officer
(ECO) who removes the related tally from the Entry Control Board.
5.1 Logging Off a BA Wearer
1. Identify the BA wearer.
The BA wearer has to close the compressed air cylinder. When the pressure level is < 15 bar, the Control Module
turns off and the related bar on the ECB is reset.
2. Remove the related tally from the tally slot.
The BA wearer places the safety key with the tally into the key holder of the Control Module.
The BA wearer is logged off.
5.2 Manual Logoff
If the automatic logoff is not possible, the BA wearer has to be logged off manually.
To manually log off a BA wearer:
1. Use icon on bottom right within user slot to logoff fire fighters.
2. Remove the tally from the tally slot.
3. Turn off the SCBA.
The BA wearer is logged off.
