2.5 Tally
The tally is part of the SCBA and connected to the safety key of the Control Module. Further information about the BA
wearer can be written on the front and back using the included china marker: BA wearer’s name, the cylinder pressure
and the time entering the incident scene. On the back, dosimeter values can be written.
There are two tally colours available: yellow for BAs with one pressure cylinder and red for twin cylinder BAs.
The tally is not included in the scope of delivery of the ECB since it is part of the MSA M1 SCBA with a Control
Module.
2.6 Location Label
At the Entry Control Point, information about the incident, location and Entry Control Officer can be written.
2.7 Telemetry System Overview
Arrived at the incident scene, one or more Entry Control Points are set up. A single Entry Control Point (ECP) needs to
have at least one MSA HUB positioned to enable communication between the Entry Control Board (ECB) and the
Control Modules of the breathing apparatus (BA) wearers.
The ECB naming is related to the ECP name, following the local guidelines. If more than 6 BA wearers are entering the
incident scene from the same ECP, another ECB can be set up.
If there is more than one ECP, every ECP needs an own MSA HUB for the ECB(s) and Control Modules to connect to.
The ECB must be within the range of the MSA HUB.
Make sure that there are no objects interfering in the network.
