X6 Gear Motor Control Relay – This relay coil is
connected to one side of the control transformer and
terminal 8 on the timer board. When terminal 8 closes:
• Contacts 10 and 6 closes to start the condenser
fan motor,
• Contacts 7 and 11 close to start the gear motor,
• Contacts 4 and 12 open to the Drain Valve…these
contacts will not allow the drain valve to energize
unless the gear motor relay is de energized and
the gear motor is not running.
When the coil is de-energized through the timer board,
• Contacts 10 and 6 open to de-energize the
condenser fan motor,
• Contacts 7 and 11 open to de-energize the gear
motor,
• Contacts 4 and 12 close to make a circuit to the
drain valve if the drain timer or ICE Flush switch is
closed.
