Function
Initiates time delay to prevent compressor short
cycling.

120 VAC or 230 VAC SPDT 1 - 100 second adjustable
Delay On Break time delay relay.
Operation
Line voltage must be applied to Terminals 1 & 2 at all
times. Removing power from terminal 6 (trigger)
energizes the relay, switches the contacts from NC to
NO and starts the time delay.
Reset: Applying power to terminal 6 (trigger) or
removing line voltage from terminals 1 or 2 will reset
the time delay.
Check Procedure
1. Line voltage at terminal #1 and terminal #2?
2. Line voltage at terminal #2 and terminal C?
3. Apply line 1 voltage to terminal #6
4. Line voltage at terminal #2 and terminal NO?
• Yes - Relay is functioning correctly
• No - Verify by removing and reapplying voltage to
terminal #6 - Replace relay if contacts do not
change position.
