Ice Machine Cleaning
VERSION 1 ICE MACHINE R404A REFRIGERANT
The ice machine must be cleaned and sanitized at
least twice a year. More frequent cleaning may be
required in some existing water conditions.
The parts listed below should be inspected at least
once a year or every 10,000 hours of operation. Their
service life, however, depends on water quality and
environment. More frequent inspection and
maintenance are recommended. To have the optimum
performance of this ice Machine, the following
consumable parts need periodic inspection,
maintenance and replacement:
• Extruding Head
• Housing
• Lower Bearing
• Gear Motor
• Auger
• Mechanical Seal
To prevent injury to individuals and damage to the ice
Machine, do not use ammonia type cleaners.
Follow carefully any instructions provided with the
bottles of Ice Machine cleaner or sanitizing solution.
Always wear liquid-proof gloves to prevent the
cleaning and sanitizing solutions from coming into
contact with skin.
1. Flip the rocker switch to “Drain” position. This
switch is the lower switch on the back of the unit.
2. Remove the unit top by removing four
thumbscrews.
3. Remove ice chute cover.
