9.4. Beginning a study
Once the equipment has been installed by your Natus qualified representative and a patient has been
connected to the Quantum system, a new EEG study can be started. For details on beginning a new EEG
study, consult the NeuroWorks manual directly.
NOTE: In order to record a study the base unit must be connected to a PC and the
base unit must be connected to the Quantum breakout boxes via the patient cable.
NOTE: Make sure to select the the correct amplifier hardware as well as the acquisition
profile in the New Study window in NeuroWorks.
