The possible values are:
• Tag All. All frames transmitted for this VLAN are tagged. All the ports are included in
the VLAN.
• Untag All.
All frames transmitted from this VLAN are untagged. All the ports are
included in the VLAN.
• Remove All. Exclude all ports from the selected VLAN.
5. Click Apply to send the updated configuration to the switch.
Configuration changes take effect immediately.
VLAN Status
Use this screen to display the VLANs on the device and their member ports.
To view current VLAN status and membership:
Select Switching> VLAN > Advanced > VLAN Status
The following table describes the fields displayed:.
Field Description
VLAN ID The VLAN identifier (VID) of the VLAN. The range of the VLAN ID is (1 to
4093)
VLAN Name Name of VLAN. VLAN ID 1 is always named Default.
VLAN Type The following values are possible:
• Static.
A VLAN an administrator has configured.
• Dynamic.
The VLAN that is created by GVRP registration initially has a
type of Dynamic (GVRP).
Routing Interface The routing interface presents IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, if defined on the
VLAN interfaces.
Member Ports The ports that are included in the VLAN.
Port PVID Configuration
The Port PVID Configuration screen lets you assign a port VLAN ID (PVID) and define VLAN
membership (tagged/untagged) to an interface.
A PVID has the following requirements:
• All ports must have a defined PVID.
• If no other value is specified, the default VLAN PVID is used.
To configure PVID and VLAN Membership information:
1. Select Switching> VLAN > Advanced > Port PVID Configuration.
2. Select the check box next to the interfaces to configure.
