This error indicates that a numeric parameter contains an invalid character 
or a character in the wrong place.  The only characters allowed in a number 
are:

generated when the system parser detects an error in string type 
data. 
-151, "Invalid string data" 
Usually caused by an error in string termination. The lEEE 488.2 standard 
defines all quoted strings as having a closing quote.

the closing quote is 
missing, usually due to a 
<NL> 
character being embedded in the string, this 
error will be generated. 
-191, "Out of string space" 
Generated when the system parser runs out 
of 
space for commands and 
parameters.  It may occur 
if 
commands are not terminated correctly. 
-192, "Out of token space" 
Occurs when the system parser detects more command elements (headers 
and parameters) than it can handle.  It may also occur if  commands are not 
terminated correctly.

Errors 
Execution Errors are associated with the interpretation 
of 
the converted 
commands and parameters received.  Incorrect parameter values and numeri- 
cal range errors are types 
of 
execution errors. Any execution error will cause 
the Execution Error bit @it
