4.3.7. Transmitted light path shutter

There is a shutter in the transmitted light path. The shutter prevents bleaching of a sensitive
sample when it is not under observation. Furthermore, the shutter protects the LED lamp
from repeated switching on and off. You can open ( ) or close ( ) the shutter using
the transmitted light path shutter lever (1).

The tiltable lighting unit (1) allows higher sample flasks to be inserted without having to
remove the condenser. This increases the working distance (2) and simplifies the workflow
considerably.
