The XT autosampler also comes with a sample cooling cover that can be slid in and out from the
instrument to gain access to the plate holders [Figure 1.23].

The sample compartment has holders that fit two 96-well plates. The plate holders will sit in the
back of the instrument when it is off or in use with the sample compartment door closed as seen
in Figure 1.21. When the sample compartment door is open and the OpenSPR-XT software is
running, the sample holders will come forward to the front of the XT autosampler as seen in
Figure 1.24 for easier access.
