The XT autosampler contains the sample compartment which houses the plate holders, sampling
needle, fluidics valve and fluidics washing system [Figure 1.21]. It is fluidically connected to the
OpenSPR unit via the injection valve.

To open the sample compartment door, follow these steps as outlined in Figure 1.22:
1. Holding the door handle, gently pull it towards you and push it upwards until it is
horizontal or at a 90° angle to the instrument (A).
2. Slide the door into the autosampler (B) until it reaches the stop position (C).
