next-hop ip-address - Specifies the directly connected next hop IP address used to reach the
destination.
The next-hop keyword and the black-hole keyword are mutually exclusive. If an identical
command is entered (with the exception of black-hole parameters), then this static route will be
replaced with the newly entered command, and unless specified, the respective defaults for
preference and metric will be applied.
black-hole - Specifies the route is a black hole route. If the destination address on a packet
matches this static route, it will be silently discarded.
The black-hole keyword and the next-hop keyword are mutually exclusive. If an identical

be replaced with the newly entered command, and unless specified, the respective defaults for
preference and metric will be applied.
tag - Adds a 32-bit integer tag to the static route. The tag is used in route policies to control
distribution of the route into other protocols.
Values: 1 — 4294967295
enable Static routes can be administratively enabled or disabled. Use the enable keyword
to re-enable a disabled static route. In order to enable a static route, it must be uniquely
identified by the IP address, mask, and any other parameter that is required to identify the
exact static route.
The administrative state is maintained in the configuration file.
