Error Verification” in PMAC

Exit FmNT, shut down
Windows NT and press the
black OFF (0) button on the
Operator’s Console
Switch the Main Circuit Breaker
to the OFF (0) position.
Manually move the Dispensing
Head to the middle of the
dispensing chamber.
Remove the white cover from the
Y-axis Home Sensor Cable (P/N
06-4541-00) connection.
Switch the Main Circuit Breaker
to the ON (I) position.
Measure VDC between Pin 1
and Pin 2 of the Y-axis Cable
(P/N 06-4541-00).
Is the reading greater
than 4 VDC?
Measure VDC between Pin 1
and Pin 4 on Y-axis Home Cable.
Is the reading greater
than 4 VDC?
Yes
Locate J28 on the Z-Servo
Interface PWA at the rear of the
Dispensing Head.
Measure VDC between Pin 1
and 2 of the J28 connector.
Is the reading greater
than 4 VDC?
No
Home/Limit Switch PWA
(P/N 60-0785-00) has
failed.
XY Servo Interface PWA
(P/N 06-1211-00) has
failed.
Place an opaque plastic card into
the Y-axis Home Sensor slot.
Measure VDC between Pin 1
and Pin 4.
Yes
No

Yes
Switch the Main Circuit Breaker
to the OFF (0) position.
Manually move the Dispensing
Head to the front left corner of
the dispensing chamber until it
contacts the Y-axis Home
Sensor.
Loosen the two 3-mm bolts,
reposition the Y-axis Home
Sensor, and torque the bolts to
20 in-lbs (0.230 kg-m).
Manually move the Dispensing
Head to the far left until it
contacts the Y-axis Home
Sensor.
Does black Home
Flag enter the Y-Axis
Home Sensor without
contacting the Sensor
case?
Is the reading less
than 2 VDC?
Home/Limit Switch PWA
(P/N 60-0785-00) has
failed.
