Replacing a Pump
Follow this procedure to replace a pump. You will need the following items:
tool kit, including a torque wrench
drain pan
cleaning supplies
replacement pump
replacement pump O‐rings
O‐ring lubricant
anti‐seize lubricant
NOTE: To rebuild a pump, contact your Nordson representative for
assistance.
1. Ensure the melter is at operating temperature.
2. Relieve system pressure. Refer to Section 1, Safety.
3. See Figure 5‐5. Close the tank isolation valve.
