7.1.1 AWAC NMEA Format (DF=100)
Data with variants of -9 (-9.00, -999…) are invalid data.
Empty files are fields not used.
The checksum calculation is part of the NMEA standard. It is the representation of two hexadecimal
characters of an XOR if all characters in the sentence between – but not including – the $ and the *
character.
