4.4. Power Supply
IFS-2600 Panels use two kinds of power supply with different set of boards.
Power Supply (Brick power supply – NPS-2/NPS-5/NPS-11):
This type of power supply is used in new IFS-2600 panels in conjunction with NI-2025-01 and NI-2017-01
boards to provide external & internal power supply to the panel. (Refer to Section 4.4.1 for more details)
Power Supply (240V/30V AC TRANSFORMER):
This type of power supply is used in older IFS-2600 panels in conjunction with IFS-2005 and IFS-2006
boards to control & power the panel (Refer to Section 4.4.2 more details)
4.4.1 Power Supply Ratings & Settings for NI-2017-01 & NI-2025-01 Boards
Brick Power Supply with NI-2025-01 Termination Board and NI-2017-01 Power Supply Interface:
This supply performs a dual function; to power panel and to charge the batteries. The supply is monitored
by an NI-2017-01 interface board, which performs all the monitoring and testing functions required to meet
AS4428.5
Battery testing is automatic and user intervention is not required.
Three models are available with output ratings of 2.6A, 5.6A, and 11.7A.
